residential life

Does anyone know about UVA'S on-campus housing for married couples? I'm applying as a transfer student for the 2010-2011 academic year and If UVA is the place for me my husband and I may need to live in on-campus housing until we can find an apartment or home for rent off-campus.

However, you would have to sign a contract for the year; they don’t give housing on a month to month basis. Right after you find out about your transfer decision, I would start looking at local apartments.

You can find the phone numbers for companies that lease apartments in the Yellow Pages under “Apartments”. Sometimes it is convenient to contact them and get a real human being to help you find what you are looking for.
