I need to apply ASAP for housing, which hall or apartment should i choose? i am latino but not necessarily hardcore into being on a latino floor, and i'm not against co-ed, and i would be paying for it through financial aid and loans, my school is about 90% hispanic so im okay with having a change in culture

Lots of good info here: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-southern-california/671723-guide-housing-usc.html

I think if you’re looking for a lot of interaction, the residential halls are the way to go. If I’m not mistaken, apartments tend to me more isolated.

thanks for the replies =]

Sapphire,
So much of the college experience is living in a dorm. It is a great way to make friends, find a study group and meet classmates from all over the world. I agree with the other poster an apartment choice now may mean you become too isolated at a time when you are still making adjustments to a whole new environment.

If you are concerned about noise there is a choice of a quiet floor. Leavey Library is open 24 hours a day.
