I was matched to Rice. It seems that sometimes, during sophomore or junior year, Rice students have to live off-campus, due to shortage of space. Will this still be paid for?
Yes. If you live off-campus, you will receive the same R & B scholarship that you would receive if you lived on-campus. I wouldn’t worry about this at all. My son is in the same position at another school as he will be living off-campus next semester after returning from a semester abroad program. He will be getting a credit for R & B to pay for his living expenses. He is actually going to go ahead and keep the meal program as I want to make sure that he eats properly at least twice a day! 
Congratulations on your match to Rice. Rice is definitely the most generous QB scholarship out there.
BTW - My son has a friend from HS who attends Rice and he loves it!
