I tried searching for for ResNet threads on here, no luck.

What tier of ResNet should I get? (How much bandwidth is good for me?)

I watch at least 3-4 hours of netflix a week, I check emails, facebook and other social crap, I skype with my sisters once a week, listen to pandora sometimes, and I browse reddit A LOT (Imma night owl I guess).

75GB is way, way too much. Remember, the cap resets every week! Tier I covers the average user more than adequately. I only hit my cap when I downloaded a big piece of software (3-5 gb in one shot). If all you’re doing is browsing text/picture websites with some occasional YouTube, then the 5 gb plan will more than suffice.

My roommate and I averaged at least 1 hr of online video games a night along with frequent YouTube, Facebook, etc. and hit our limits maybe 2-3 times a semester. Even then, you still have access to a lower speed connection that’s fine for school work. Also, university webpages are not counted against your cap. Still, a heavy dose of Skype and Netflix can potentially throw you over the 5gb edge. Even then, a 10gb package would probably be more than enough, let alone 25gb. The only people that got close to needing Tier 3 or 4 were prolific (illegal) downloaders. The descriptions they have for each tier’s ideal user is way off.

If you don’t mind tempering your usage, then 5gb should get you covered. But if you want to feel free to use the web to your heart’s desire, the 25gb will leave you more than comfortable.

I think I’m going to go with the second (25GB) tier considering its only $35 for the yr & I’m always streaming netflix and youtube constantly, I sometimes fall asleep on netflix…not healthy lol Thanks frever! and I don’t think I’m downloading any torrents this year either. I’m trying to break that habit! X)
