Resolving Scheduling Conflict

I want to sign up for both c3045 (Intensive Organic Chemistry) and v1207 (Honors Mathematics A) this upcoming fall, but i think the math class interferes with the recitation for the chemistry class.

Recitation for orgo:
W 2:10pm-3:00pm
W 3:10pm-4:00pm

Time for math:
MW 2:40pm-3:55pm

Is there anyway to still take both classes? Can recitation be moved?

honors math A? who takes that?? are you just trying to fill your schedule with what looks to be the "hardest" or "most impressive" classes?

The computer won't let you register for two classes at the same time. Many recitations are optional or simply never happen (neither the TAs or the students want to deal with them), and if that's the case, the Orgo prof may sign a waiver for you.

recitations for chem classes tend to be mandatory though.

What's the problem with honors math A?

i haven't heard of anyone taking it and it just seems like a class that has extra stuff piled into it for no good reason.

honors math is the badass track they have for CC kids who got a 5 on the BC AP exam. it's heavily proof-oriented and covers the traditional Calc sequence plus a whole lot more, in more depth. you do lots of cool stuff, but you're also in a class with the best math minds in your class, so the curve will severely harsh your buzz.
