How are the job prospects and salary for respiratory therapist? would you recommended this field to someone with bachelor of science?
All health related field have good job prospects, especially is you are willing to live outside of large cities.
Job prospects should be good. One caveat I tell all health professional students is do your research about is involved with your career. I was shopping for scrubs one day when the new respiratory therapy students were shopping for supplies. One of the students was searching for supplies when she asked me about the first item on her list . " It says I need a mask and face shield , what do I need that for?" When I told her why that was the most important item on her list, she had a horrified look on her face . She had made her decision regarding her major only on future job prospects and salary and not looked into what that job would entail. Shadow a RT before making any decisions is my recommendation .
