Respond Needed!!!!!!!!!

I have a question that deals with an particular EC, a couple of times a month we have mentally challenged guests that come to our art class and get buddied with us, we are the only class that does this for this year. Is this a potential EC or is it not part of my volunteering hours. Please respond ASAP.
Thanks

EC=extracurriculars=things you do outside the classroom.
This is not an EC. Just like doing lab is not research.

Is it volunteering????

I don't see it as an EC or as volunteering. It seems like a routine part of your classwork. The fact that yours is the only class that does it is not significant because it seems that it is work that your teacher assigns to you.

An EC would be if you were doing this on your own, which more than likely would mean doing it outside of class on your own time.

Now if you'd started the program in your class -- created the collaboration between your teacher and those students, got your class to vote to participate -- then that would be very impressive.
