<p>The short break would only be a one time thing, feeno. But the problem for returning students would be their summer jobs. The “summer season” doesn’t really start up here until the kids get out of school. They’d have a much shorter window to make money if they had to go back to college the 1st of August. Now maybe that wouldn’t affect the kids in the non-resort areas and towns. But it would suck for lil bro and those like him.</p>
<p>In that case, wouldn’t he hypothetically also have a heads-up for getting a seasonal job during the December break, since he would be back weeks before other holiday job seekers?</p>
<p>Well, now that we know Bama Dining serves Thanksgiving dinner, we feel much better about DS staying during Thanksgiving break. Don’t really see a good alternative. We are just far enough away to make the round trip impractical. Oh well. Gotta get Skype, LOL!</p>
