Had 600 increase in overall score on 6-11-11 SAT and ETS want release score. Said there was possible copying or comunications with another test taker. This is impossible. Anyone ever had this happen. How did you respond? Need to get this behind me ASAP.

That hasn’t happened to me, but if what you say is true, then you shouldn’t have anything to worry about. ETS can’t cancel your score without solid proof. On paper, it simply looks like you prepared a lot more and succeeded.

There was no test on 6/11/11.
It was on 6/4/11.
And if that happens, they usually offer you a retake to prove your score.

What if you’re applying early decision to college and there is no time? I’m taking the October 1 SAT and the Cornell ED deadline is November 1. I got a 2000 at my highest single sitting so would I get flagged if i went to a 2200+ or increased my math/cr from 1380 to 1500+ ?

Now I am worried, I am also looking at a 500-600 point increase. I didn’t study at all the first time, but once I started studying I increased by quite a lot.

ETS has a publication called Why and how ETS questions SAT scores. If this will let me post a link, it’s http://www.ets.org/Media/Tests/PRAXIS/pdf/whyandhow.pdf If not, google that title and you’ll find it. Good luck!
