Restaurants

Does anyone know of any good restaurants (moderately priced) in the Brown/Providence area that would give you a good feel for college life?

just walk along thayer street

Gotcha (I assume that's the name of the street at the end of the hill), but do you or anyone else have any particular suggestions?

i mean the part of the street that runs right through campus. You can eat at Spike's, east side pockets, johnny rockets, antonio's, bagel gourmet, paragon, shanghai, kabob and curry, etc.

Don't know how far this is from Brown, but Atwell Avenue has a lot of fabulous restaurants (a lot of Italian ones). Some can be pricey, but there are good moderate selections too.

Atwells does have some great Italian, but it's too far to walk. There are busses there, etc. If you head over there, Andino's I think was the name of this GREAT plcae that's not expensive at all for what you get.

Wickenden Street is within walking distance and has several restaurants of the type that college students frequent. My daughter and her friends have a special fondness for brunch at Brickway. There are some good restaurants on Hope Street heading north; going south, Rue de L'Espoir is a perennial favorite.

Eat at Nice Slice, it's really good! Also, Kabob & Curry, right next door to it, is delicious.
