<p>I got 1 day restriction at school......(senior)
would this effect my admission from UW?
what should I do!!!!
my grades have been dropping a lot and it kind of worries me now</p>
<p>i received a 1 day suspension as well senior yr just a few weeks ago after i had filled out my app and been accepted etc. I talked to my counselor and he told me it will have ZERO effect on college. By law my school is not allowed to list anything like that on my final transcript that i will be sending in at the end of the semester and since i my punishment file is so little (first thing), no one will be notified etc. hope thats the same for you.. we all mess up and learn.</p>
<p>UW only asks for transcripts in its final reports. Generally, disciplinary actions are not listed on transcripts. Some universities may ask for complete final reports, which may include reporting suspensions and such. It sounds like the offense wasn’t severe, but if you aren’t convinced, you can go talk to your counselor about that and your grades as well.</p>
<p>i was told to absolutely not worry, so i really think you should not either. as for the grades maintain good ones or try to at least!</p>
