I'm a state board member for the Michigan State Thespian Board, and every year at festival I end up at resume development workshops, so I've heard many different opinions on this.

The general consensus among admissions folk is that an objective statement is unnecessary. There are those who like it, but those who don't are much more passionate about their dislike of it than supporters are of their support. Does that make sense? So I'd drop it.

What else do you want help with? Go to Word, find a resume template, and start typing. Just make sure the font size is no smaller than 9 and it's readable. Make use of bold, italics and underlines.

Thanx for advice...
