I want to order some of the 8 x 10 actor paper. Should it be white or does it not matter, white is cheapest so that may be the final choice, but I wanted to find out if printing it on colored paper was not recommended.

Thanks!

My work resume was done on a buff colored paper but my D has always used white for her auditions. I will be interested to see what people suggest.

Yesterday at BW they had a book of their current students resumes and headshots for us to look through. I saw only white paper, not sure if it was the actor paper or just trimmed paper. Stapled at the top and bottom in the middle.

White. Or slightly off white should be okay.

White or an off-white is best. I personally would go with white.

We used white but I think either white or off white would be fine.

I’ve been curious about “actor paper”, so I just Googled it. I see that you can different weights, but as far as I can tell, it’s just regular paper that’s 8 x 10 right? It’s also double what regular paper costs . . . not including shipping.

What we did is bought a ream of white, nice weight paper for about 1/2 the cost of “actor paper” and asked the folks at “the counter” of Office Max to cut it in their paper cutting machine. It saved money and was hassle-free.

I would not print it on colored paper; from what I’ve seen, people use white only.

I think colored paper might be a little too Elle Woods. ;-)

Darn…then I need to tell my D to stop putting perfume on hers? :)

CC needs a like button. Bisouu just cracked me up with the perfume comment!

Oh my god, oh my god…you guys!

LOLOL! You all are getting punchy early in the season!!! Oh my GAWD!!! LOL

White with photo stapled was what we used. Best of luck to all!!!
