I'm submitting my jhu app online tommorow, but I just realized that I wont be able to mail my resume in because the post office will be closed till the 2nd. Will it be a problem if my resume is postmarked 1 day late, eventhough my full application will be in before the deadline?

oo one more thing...is there a time deadline for the online submission of the hopkins app? cuz some of my colleges say that it has to be submitted by 5:00pm on the deadline day, but I dont see anything like that on the hopkins site.

i would like to know the answer to the first question too... in canada, canada post doesnt resume work until jan. 2nd, and i cant send the certification of finances form until then... is it ok if its postmarked a day late? with a letter of explanation perhaps?

Do we have to send resume? I never know that . I thought I simply need to complete the JHU online application.
Anyway, I have the same question. What is the deadline to sumit online ?

Mailing (Postmark) Deadline:
Due to the national holiday on January 1 and the federal holiday on January 2 commemorating the death of President Ford, Johns Hopkins will continue to accept and process application materials with postmark dates up through January 3, 2007.

Online Submission (Time) Deadline:
The online submission deadline is stated as January 1, 2007. Since Johns Hopkins is in Baltimore, MD which is EST then you have until 11:59 p.m. EST on Monday, January 1, 2007. Make it easy on yourself ... don't wait until the last moment.

Question - For the Mailing Deadline, is that the application only? Thing such as the essay and personal information? Does this deadline include things such as letters of recommendation and transcripts?

The mailing and online submission deadlines are for the student's portion of the application. The student portion of the application is either Part I and Part II of the Johns Hopkins application, or the Common Application and Hopkins supplement. This includes essays and personal information too.

The school portion of the application including transcript, school report, and letters of recommendation may be sent after the deadline. We request that these items be postmarked no later than January 16, 2007.

I am an international student living in the United States who has already applied for Johns Hopkins Admissions. I went on the Johns Hopkins Website and looked at the stuff for financial aid. But I am confused. Which forms do I fill out for financial aid? I must do the CSS. But do I also do the International Certification of Finances?
And also, I read on the CollegeRep's post just today that the latter is due by 1/1/07. But this means I have until the 1/3/07 extended postmark deadline correct?

I feel horrible that I didn't realize my mistake until today.
Panicking terribly!!!Help!

And also, I got this from the JHU website:"All financial aid documents must be filed by November 15 for Freshman Early Decision applicants, and by March 1 for Regular Decision applicants. Late applications will not be considered for financial assistance."

But the Certificate of Finances is due earlier right?
Thank you everyone!
