Resume question?

I do a lot of ECs, piano, cello, symphony youth orchestra, art, and ice skating…i have exams, certificates, performances, and awards/honors for all of them.

Over the course of time in high school i kept track of all of my achievements in my resume and it’s actually about three or four pages long.

Should I include all of them and submit it to, let’s say Cornell U? Or should I only include my best ones and the most recent ones?

p.s. for figure skating I was a two time bronze medalist in a regional (or whatever it’s called) open championship and I also competed in Thailand at the age of 10. They’re a bit ancient so I didn’t include them. But should I?

Although many colleges do allow the submission of a resume, it is thought to be best to summarize your best and most prominent ECs into the 10 allotted slots on the Common App. (Most AOs don’t have the time/desire to read a 3 page resume, anyways.) If you run out of room, you could group music/orchestra related ECs together and so on.

No teenager’s resume should need to exceed a single page, point blank. Group things together, format carefully, and get it onto a single page. And if much of it duplicates information in the common app activity and honors sections, then skip the resume entirely.
