IS this a safe idea? I've done a ton of stuff that the application doesn't recognize. Where do you put down you are a regimental commander or on a regimental staff? They only recognize Battalion commander, but we all know that Regimental is the top of it all. Thats just an example. Any ideas what I should do? I was thinking about sending a one page resume front and back.

I don't think it would hurt, worst that happens is they don't look at it. I think they would look at it though.

Yes, send in additional information on a separate sheet if you need to. Admissions will look at it.

Ah great. Thanks for the input. Also, are we supposed or not supposed to staple the application together when we finished all of its individual components...? I'm assuming no..

No, don't use staples. Use paperclips if you want to keep certain documents together. Make sure that your name and candidate ID number is on any additional paperwork you submit. Make copies of everything you submit as things can and do get lost on occasion....If you do send additional information you may want to add a covering letter explaining what you have added.

Thank You for the tips everyone, and thanks Mister Sinister for asking the question.

Do we send each document separately, or all together?

I was going through the candidate handbook... that came with the application, and I found a sheet called "supplements for Activities" (something along the lines) Do I have to use this form, or can I create a word processed version. I already made a resume of some kind on my computer..

And to answer petey's question.. I think... a lot of the components are down separately.. Just look at all the envelopes they gave us.

oh and do you know if they are still giving out LOA's or no?

This is how my daughter did it last year:
She took everything related to school to the guidance counselor - recommendation forms, CFA, Activities record.
She saved the essay to write and send in herself - in the envelope provided.
The teachers put their forms in the envelopes and turned them into the office and all of that was sent as one package except the CFA was done later and sent seperately.

MisterSinister: Use the form provided in the handbook.

This is your first test for USMA - read through all of the instructions and follow them!!! I know everyone has their own reason or excuse but you need to please admissions at USMA - not make it easy for yourself.
