OMG I REALIZED THAT THEY ONLY ALLOW 1 PAGE RESUME
MY RESUME IS 4 PAGES MY GUIDANCE TOLD ME ITS FINE BUT I AM HONESTLY FREAKING OUT
I READ TEMPLATES AND THE RESUMES AREN’T 4 PAGES LONG…
IF I DON’T SUBMIT A RESUME (OPTIONAL) WILL IT HURT MY CHANCES? COMPARED TO SUBMITTING A RESUME THAT IS NOT IN A GOOD FORMAT OR LENGTH?

I’m in the same boat as you; I’m not sure if I should upload a resume given that I’ve already listed my activities in the common application and used the additional information section to enter in other useful things…
Take out the parts of the resume that are already listed on your common application. That should be at least half. Then, narrow it down to what is most relevant to what you want to study, and what you believe colleges will care most about. No one’s resume needs to be four pages. Two is pushing it.

unfortunately i wish i saw this earlier, i already submitted my resume to schools, ended up being a bit more than 4 pages
I don’t know if either of you have turned in your applications already, but you can also shrink two pages into one by changing the layout on Word to the book layout (two pages side by side) then save it as a PDF.
