<p>Is it common to submit a resume with your application? NYU's application directly refers to a resume in the EC section when it says "complete this section even if you submit a resume". This leads me to believe that resume submitting is somewhat common...</p>

<p>I have a resume and I'm willing to submit it, but I don't want to be one of those applicants that just sends a buttload unecessary paper.</p>

<p>If there's something important on the resume that's not in the app, send it along. If it just re-states some information that are already mentioned in the app, better don't send it.</p>
