For MIT, do we send in a resume in our application?

If so, I don't seem to see a space for it?

Also, I only have my EC's phone number and no email address. What does this mean?

sorry for these n00b questions...

there's a place for additional info in their app... you'll have to type out your additional info/ resume there.

You don't need to send a resume with your MIT application. If you would like, you can send it as supplemental information, but it is not required and MIT would prefer that you use the space in the application for your most important extracurriculars rather than sending in a laundry list resume.

can't we use that additional space for a list of awards and honors and other important stuff? We'll have to list that out I guess ? Or will that be seen negatively?

You can absolutely use the extra space to list anything you want, and you can also send a resume on paper as supplemental information if you'd like. It's not going to hurt your application.

I'm just warning that a resume, unless carefully thought out, may not be as helpful as applicants tend to think it will be.

what about my 2nd question?

Thanks for the quick replies guys

It means you need to call your EC to schedule your interview.
