Resume

In "Acing the College Application" by Michelle Hernandez, she recommends attaching a larger version of the chart that is on the application form. She has a lot of hints and some examples. It is a good book to get.

i've ordered the book, but what if you're applying online? it's harder to replicate the ecs chart

Just make a concise activity list..not necessarily a resume..u are not applying for a job....

I would call it a resume. What about awards and honors? And descriptions of things like summer programs?

MIT's application refers to it as a resume.

However, I would keep it as short as possible. Colleges ask what they ask for a reason. Adding extra information either means 1) you're assuming they made a mistake by not including something, and you're trying to correct them, or 2) you've done something special that doesn't fit anywhere or has to be explained.

That's just my interpretation.

I had to create a resume a few weeks ago, and it is able to convey information that I believe is important that I wouldn't be able to fit on a college application.

But seriously. Don't get caught up about word choice. Especially between "resume" and "activity list". Include what you must, and call it a day.

yea..
resume...hernandez's activity list...

same damn thing lol!

it's just what u present yourself on paper
