I am apply ED to CALS Atmospheric Sciences this fall. Should I submit a resume with my application?

Probably not, unless you have a bunch of things that you can’t cover on CommonApp

Same here! and probably not. If the info you want to submit wont fit in the additional info section of the commonapp then you need to be more concise. Thats where I put my resume (about 2 pages but I may cut it down). What’s your intended major if you don’t mind me asking?

OP, i put my resume in as a supplemental info. for the activities section. and imi1928, im assuming their major is for atmospheric sciences. how fun! i loooove meteorology!

Haha omg im like blind. I didnt even see that.

Thanks for the responses. My resume is only one page. So I can submit it on the common app extra section?

I think it’s a great idea to submit your resume. Bring it to school to as it helps out with job and internship applications. Good luck.

@cdhs34 Yep

Thanks everyone! Anyone have any idea the admittance rate for the atmospheric science major at Cornell? Do students compete in applications for each major at CALS or for all students put together at CALS? Thanks in advance!

I’m pretty sure its by school. CALS’s acceptance rate is about 20.6% for women and 21.7% for men.

Your application is evaluated against others applying to the same program. In other words, you will be evaluated against other atmos. science applicants.

Thanks! Any idea how large the pool is?
