I plan on uploading a resume for the Common App Additional Info section.

What are they supposed to look like? Anyone have any examples? I've looked online and they are all really different in regards to format.

Also, I've always heard that having more than a page for a resume is not a good idea. Is this true? What is the max a resume should be?

If someone can PM me or email me (brightdevil@hotmail.com) an example of how it should look like or just post here, I'd appreciate it.

Any format is fine as long as it's succinct and clear, and no more than about a page. It's the content that matters.
Also, don't include stuff that shows elsewhere on the app. such as courses, grades, activities you've already listed etc. because it's best not to make them read repeated stuff. I know that some do upload a complete resume but wonder about the wisdom of it if it repeats material already shown.

You could elaborate on particular ECs that are important to you with very brief descriptions, list any additional awards, extra work experience or anything that shows more about you.

My D just listed extra stuff such as additional awards and presentations at certain conferences that give extra info she felt was important to her app. She listed things in bullet form under titles (such as Add. awards, Publications, Conferences etc.) keeping it to just less than one page.
