I've been very active in my community and I have a good resume, but I also think that I managed to cram everything that was really important to me on the application.

I did leave out some stuff though, for example volunteer work at nursing homes, trail building, school supply drives, etc. Should I send in a resume with this stuff plus the stuff I already mentioned on my app?

I've heard the saying "the thicker the file the thicker the applicant", but I'm wondering if it is looked down upon not sending a resume.

...but should I submit one? Is it like a strike against you if you don't? I just feel like most of my resume repeats what was said on my application and I don't want to annoy admissions my sending in redundant and unnecessary information. On the other hand, my resume does list some more minor activities that I have been a part of that I was not able to include on the application and I don't want my application to be viewed as somewhat incomplete for not sending one in. But really, not a lot of new info is added by submitting my resume...

Anyways, I'm probably stressing about this too much, but I just don't want to annoy admissions or not give myself that extra edge, so I don't know which way to go.
