Hey guys,

I was looking through a college catalog when I saw "retail management" listed as a concentration for management major. Does anyone know much about what jobs are available, wages, education, etc for someone with this concentration?
I think being able to manage a large department store would be cool but not actually sure what stores people actually get to manage.

*I have a medical route back-plan however I'm still open to possibilities

I like managing a business-organization, hiring people, etc-don't like dealing with customers but will tolerate that if necessary

I like jobs that will allow me to occasionally travel-especially out of the States so I can practice using different languages

-so---do you think retail management is something I should explore when in college or just stick to medical?

Thanks!
