Does anyone know why IU only accepts on campus courses to raise GPA in the summer? They don't accept online courses through IUB or IUPUI, also any advice on what to do in this situation? Need to take two courses to keep scholarship, registered at IUPUI for summer school currently

DS2 took m118 at another IU campus last summer before freshman year. The grade is included in his GPA. Where is your source of the following statement?

" Does anyone know why IU only accepts on campus courses to raise GPA in the summer?"

On the office of scholarships website it says “only summer courses taken in person on the Bloomington campus can be used in scholarship reinstatement reconsideration”

My son also took W131 in high school, and A100 and the equivalent of E370 at IUPUI and all those grades went into his IU Bloomington gpa. Don’t know why they won’t count yours.

It could be worth it to take these in the summer depending on what scholarships you are trying to save. If you live in Indy, you might be able to commute. Tuition and fees would cost probably around $1,400. The grade distributions for these classes with the same professors from last summer session II suggests that you would likely get two A’s in these classes, though.
