Retake 2120?

710 CR
680 M
730 W

My scores are within the middle 50% of my top choices (Oberlin, Tufts, Bowdoin, Kenyon).

I got a 236 PSAT so I thought I could do better but I'm not sure...

Without really studying I get about the same score on practice tests...

So would it be worth retaking?
With a tutor?
Without one (but with studying)?
Not at all?

Thanks :)

Any advice?

Your scores are pretty good. Since your lowest is in math, try focusing more on the math section and maybe you can get that into the 700s.
Other than that, i think your score will rise if you retake it. A 236 on PSAT is amazing

Just try taking it again, you never know how much you can improve, especially with that outstanding PSAT score. Try taking the ACT maybe too.

Do any of your schools give national merit scholarships on PSAT?

Do any of your schools give merit scholarships based on the SAT Scores?

The answers to these two questions determines whether you should retake your SAT. General rule of thumb is 50% does nt always guarantee an admssion but 75% usually does, if you use percentages as a guide to your chances.
