<p>I am an african american junior. I got a 2140( M:690 , CR:720, W:730)
I want to apply to engineering schools like columbia and cmu. I feel my math score is too low for engineering. However I've already got a 740 on the math II exam and I'm taking IB calculus as junior. I have all A's in that class and will probably have a 6 or 7 exam score b4 I even apply. So is my score too low or do my other math merits balance it out?</p>

<p>Retake, If you don’t, you’ll be kicking yourself if you get rejected by Columbia and always wonder "what if I had taken the sat again… You seem to have the skills, just practice question types and it becomes easy. Three months ago I was in your shoes (690 M November). I just retook and got a 760.</p>
