well 34+ is super legit but you would be better off studying for 2 sat 2’s… be happy I know I would be.

What is the harm in retaking it? A 33 is awesome, don’t get me wrong, but there’s always that chance you can surprise yourself and do better than before.

My son took it last June and got a 32. He took it again this March and only studied by taking one practice test and he got a 35. So no harm in taking it again.

i guess i should also add that I took the ACT freshman year and scored a 24
breakdown for that was:
29 m
22 E
24 S
22 R

So would colleges frown upon me taking it one more time?

I think colleges would probably disregard the freshman year ACT.

You should retake it depending on what colleges you’re applying for. If a 33 is at least higher than the scores of 60% of the accepted students at the school you’re applying for, I would say you’re good. It never hurts to improve your ACT though.

You send whichever one you want, so colleges will not know how many times you took it ; )

^ but yale and upenn (my two top schools) require all scores…
i think i’ll take it one more time though.

thanks!

If those are your 2 schools, take it again.

^^ but they wont KNOW if you sent them all ; )

haha i guess.

also i found out that i got a 9 on the essay…? which makes my combined writing/english score a 30…

yet i got a 12 on the SAT essay, so Im a little confused as to how that happened.
