Yeah I was actually hoping to double major in biology and chemistry. So I'm just thinking it'll look pretty bad if that's my intended major and I can't even go the science ACT...

If feel like the science section on the ACT doesn't necessarily say anything about your actual science skills. A 33 is pretty awesome. Maybe you could try a science SAT II, like bio or chem, to add an extra dimension?

Yeah I think colleges know the science section really brings down a lot of people and as long as you have good grades in your science classes, you should be fine. They're smart enough to know that anyone with a 33 is smart enough no matter how bad their science is. Science is Math+Reading basically, and just look at your M+R. You basically have a 2300 equivalent SAT with the 3 sections excluding science, so I say you're fine and don't retake because then you have to worry about that and college apps.

I'd take it again. 33 is amazing, but why not see if you can do a little better? If you do worse, just send the September score instead, no big deal.

People keep telling me I'm stupid for taking it again, but the way I see it, there's no harm in trying one last time.

If you're only a junior you might as well retake it. You'll have plenty of chances and time. Besides, if you do worse, nobody has to know about it.

Was it a time issue on the science part? I lost track of time during my first ACT and I messed up in science. But, I retook it again and I felt better.

If you think you can do even two or three points better in science, I would retake it. Plus, you can report what scores you want, so you really have nothing to lose.
