Retake a 35 for a higher math subscore?

Hello everyone, on the most recent ACT I scored a 35 composite (35 on everything except a 33 on math). I was just wondering whether you guys think I should retake to get my math subscore up or just submit my previous test with a 36M. The reason I am not sure about this is because the science section of this test was a 32.

No

Many, maybe most, schools “superscore” ; if so at your targeted schools, then you should send both.

it depends on the school

1)No need to take another test, focus on other aspects of your applications and your senior year grades

  1. Submit 35C to schools that don’t superscore. On the common app (if you are using it) you will record the highest section subscores, so even non-superscore schools will likely see your 36M subscore.

3)Submit 35C and test with 36M subscore to schools that do superscore

4)Pay attention to each school’s requirements for test score submission-some require official reports from ACT, some allow self-reporting of scores. Save $ where you can.
