Retake a 720?

I just took the SAT Chem and got a 720. Disgusting.
Last year I got a 740 on Bio, and I'm a rising junior.

If I retake the SAT Chem in October, will colleges see that I took it twice and/or see my earlier score?

I'm so stressed out. Is it a bad thing/a big deal to retake a SAT II?

It is not bad to retake. Are you taking AP Chem in junior year? If so, wait til the end of next year to take the SAT 2.

That’s the thing. I’m not taking AP Chem until I’m a senior, due to scheduling issues. Would it be a problem to take SAT Chem and the PSAT in the same month?

No, honestly. The PSAT requires little preparation unless you’re going for a ridiculous score to get National Merit. I didn’t prepare for it at all because I kinda forgot about it and I still got a 227. It’s really not bad. You can just do a couple of weekend study sessions beforehand and you’ll be fine.

You already know Chem, just focus on the points that you struggled with and do practice tests.

I’m also in the same situation, except I’m going to be taking AP chem this year (as a senior). got a really low score (lower than yours)…I don’t know what I’m going to do. I don’t have PSAT, but I’m taking the SAT (again) in October and I have college apps. ):

I decided that I’m going to study by myself and definitely retake in October. Shouldn’t be that bad.

I am aiming for National Merit, but I think I’ll be OK anyways with Chem the week before. Ughhhhg f.adaiof asju Sorry, frustration vented.

@onetwentyone = Good luck with everything! Could you retake in November? Or do you have other subject tests to send?
