retake ACT and SAT

It was my first time at the ACT and SAT I received a composite score of 25 with a 29 on math and 31 on science and 20s on the english. On the SAT I:

Critical Reading 530
Math 650
Writing 410

with math again being my strongest point. I also took the AP US History and Chem exams in may but will wait to get my scores and I forgot to take the SAT IIs in both those subjects.

Should I take the SAT IIs for both those subjects and retake the SAT and ACT?

I would recommend retaking the SAT simply because if you do worse, colleges won't look at your lower scores. As for the SAT II, it depends on which colleges your planning on applying to and how many subjects tests they require. If math is your strong point, make sure to take Math Level II if/when you take that subject test especially if thats your possible major.

take the ACT. you can take it as many times as you want and you only have to send one score. plus, you have a greater chance improving your score on the ACT then on the SAT. if math is your stong point, the ACT is the better test for you. just grab a grammar book and learn about the "rules" of english and you will be fine

College policies give you the chance to improve your score profile through retaking the admission tests.

Good luck on the next test(s) you take.
