Retake ACT to raise English score?

Daughter just received an ACT Composite of 35 with an English of 33, all other scores 35 and an essay of 8 with a combined Essay/writing score of 30. This was her first time with little prep. She set a goal to get at least a 34 composite AND at least a 34 on all sections. I know ACT English/Math are more important than Science and Reading. Do you think she should retake? Her SAT's were 2190 with a 760R 700M and 730 W 8 essay but she will take one more time. She wants to major in Engineering so the Math portion is the most significant. Some of the schools she is thinking about want the ACT with writing or the SAT and two subject tests and she did receive a 750 on Math 2 and 780 on World History last year but wants to try again on the Math 2 and will also take the US History and Chemistry. She doesn't have enough physics to do well on the physics subject test because she doesn't take AP physics until senior year. She is considering Rice and UF and a few other fairly selective schools but no Ivies.
