Retake ACT to Transfer?

I had an 18 on my ACT test when i took it in high school. I want to transfer to a university as a sophomore from a community college. I was just wondering if it's a good idea for me to retake the act? I'm applying to all the schools i want to attend this week. The ACT test will be February 6th and it takes longer to get the results.

So should i retake it and tell the university i want to transfer to that i'll be retaking the test?

Should i just not send in any ACT scores and wait till my new ones come in?

Should i not take the Test because it's too late now?

retake the acts over again and send them both your old ones and your new ones to show improvements, also take the upcoming sats and study you but off. im doing the same thing but i got a 22 my first time. most schools require you to meet a certain minimum (im going to fsu and you need a 23 in math, 22 in reading and writing minimum) in order to show them that you can handle your college classes.

I don’t know about taking both SAT and ACT. I know I’d rather put all of my time and effort to study for only one test.
But most def retake your ACT and study for it as much as you can. Take plenty of practice tests. I improved my score from 24 to 29.
Good Luck!
