I just got my AP scores today, and I discovered that I received a 2 in spanish language. I am taking AP spanish literature next year because at my school a foreign language is required until junior year (otherwise I would drop it like it's hot). Thus, I am planning on retaking the language exam next year, along with literature.

First, how would I go about cancelling an AP score? Is there a specific timeframe in which I need to cancel it, or can I wait until next year?

Second, will colleges be able to tell that I failed and retook the exam? Will a canceled score count toward awards like National AP Scholar, etc.?

Finally, what are some good methods for preparing for AP spanish language that will get me at least a three?
