Hey guys,

I got a 730 on my Chem SAT II for the June 4th administration. I have really high 700s (10-20 points away from 800) for my Bio M and Math II. I felt like I could have done better but I dont know if I have the time to take this exam because I am going to retake the SAT in October for Early Action. I've heard of Rush Scoring but is it worth it to retake my chem score? Thanks!

Depends on what school you are interested in EA/EDing. Check the schools website, it usually tells you the latest you can take a test.

Do you think my 730 is not acceptable to schools like UPenn, UChicago, MIT? My cumulative for the SAT II is a 2300

Yes…if you can retain all of your knowledge. There’s a lot to know for chem, so if you’re not in constant review, you’ll lose it. Assuming you won’t be studying chem religiously from now until November because of college applications, it’s not realistic.

Focus on your SAT I. And your other scores are good to go.

Yes you should retake asap.
