<p>If I retake the SAT, I will probably do so in October. I'm a junior this year. Anyway, I got a 640 CR, 720M, 800W. I was very, very disappointed by my CR score since I practiced quite a lot for CR. Math was also...interesting to say the least. I plan to apply for the top 10-15 schools plus the top UCs. Should I retake? Advice? Thanks!</p>

<p>CR...you should review your vocab. if you are missing any, it's unexcusable.</p>
<p>i would def retake...i had similar scores to you (680 cr, 740 m, 800w) when i took it soph year and retook end of junior and got 800 on cr and m. writing went down, but with superscore that doesn't matter.</p>
<p>get the blue book if you haven't already...see what areas of cr are your weakest--passages? multiple choice? finishing in time? drill down on your weekest. and get the bloody sat word of the day. even if you just glance at it in your inbox, you're still gonna remember it.</p>
