<p>My math scores are killing me. I don't understand why they keep getting lower and lower! Should I sign up for the December SAT and study for SAT math like crazy over Thanksgiving break to improve my score?</p>

<p>Hm maybe you're just bad at math. It's ok, I'm horrible at math. Depends on if you're applying to public or private schools. Don't know about most public schools but I know UCs take the best scores from one sitting while most private schools take the best scores from each section. So if you feel you have to, go right ahead there isn't really a penalty for it</p>
<p>I'm aiming for UCLA and UCSD, but my test scores are probably way too low.</p>
<p>plasti-tak, i too am aiming for ucsd (which is a slight reach for me) and ucla (reach for me), and i have very similar scores.</p>
<p>i got 1900 the first try, and 1940 the second.</p>
<p>i don't know if it helps you any, but i'm going to retake the SAT in december to try and get around a 2050.</p>
