retake one, both, or none?

I already applied early to cornell, you can see my stats on my other thread. my best sat (out of 2 attempts) was 2120 (640cr,800m,680w), and I took the ACT cold in oct with a 32 (24e,36m,31r,35s). I'm worried that if I don't get in ED, my scores would not be as competitive as I'd like for my other options for RD. If I wait to see if I got in, it's too late for any changes.

Should I retake both in Dec, just one, or leave them?
I know I can do better on each test: for the SAT, I'm studying vocab because SCs killed me in the oct test, for the ACT, I'm going to study the english part [mechanics, etc]. My goal is a 700 cr, or 32 eng and reading

What would you do in my case?
See my other thread for my other upper match/reach schools I would apply to RD if I didn't get in.
I know my essays, ECs, and stuff can still bring me over a 2200+ applicant, but I can't be sure if mine are strong enough to do that.

Retake the ACT. You seem more of a math/science person. If you're fine with time restraints, the ACT has easier english and reading sections. SAT reading is not too easy to improve through prep.

thanks for the advice
i think i'm going to take a practice of each in the next few days to see if my cr has made a quick jump from the vocab i've been learning (yeah the vocab will be different on the actual test, but whatever). and then I'll see if my 24 eng was just a bad day or whatever.
any more input?

retake ACT and study your ass off for the english. aim for 30+.

whoa...35 science and 24 english...
it's usually the other way around for most people
that sounds like a bad day to me =P

english is probably the most repetitive section you'll ever encounter
do a bunch of practices and you'll probably see improvement after even three sections (75 questions each)

I wish you luck
