Retake or no?

I'm a junior, and I took my first SAT this October. Spent about three weeks (15 min ish a day?) prepping. I started from a 202 soph PSAT without studying, and was going for a 2300+

I ended up with a 2250. It's a score I'm pretty happy with, but I got a 730 on CR (this is my best section and I got 780-800 CR's on practice tests). However, I think I was a little too nervous on the actual thing. My breakdown was:

730 CR
770 writing
750 math

I think that if I were to retake I would have a decent chance at a 770+ CR and possibly a higher writing score (majoring in english, too). I'm wondering if this is worth it. Do colleges look down upon a second attempt? Some of the colleges I want to apply to don't allow the use of score choice.

taking the sat twice is pretty normal, they wont look down on it especially if you improve
since you are still a junior and have a while to go until the last deadline,
i would suggest waiting until may or june or even october your senior year to take it again
i almost guarantee your score will be better

thanks  sounds good
