<p>Yes that's precisely what I'm worried about with my 2170. I'm not sure whether I should retake in October or just leave it as is, because I don't know how a college consider it.</p>
<p>btw I think most UCs do NOT superscore, but that only applies to you if you want to attend a UC.</p>

<p>For most colleges that's as close to a 2400 as you need. It's a 1570/1600 which is the scale most colleges care about, and that's the same as getting a 2350 or whatever. Don't worry, you'll be at the top end of the SAT score range. I think you're above HYP's 75th percentile already - only 25% of HYP students have a score equal or better than yours. Feel proud. You are better than 75% of HYP students in terms of SAT scores.</p>
