CR: 770
M: 650
W: 720 (w/ 8 essay... so close to, if not an 800 if I had gotten a 12)

Composite: 2140

SAT Chemistry: 770
US History: 650

I don't know if it's worth re-taking. On one hand, I know I have the ability to get my writing score so much higher, but, at this point, after so many hours of practice, I'm still at a stand still for math; I honestly don't know if I can get it much higher (and I just took a semester's worth of Calc AB this summer).

I'm probably not re-taking my IIs, just because I have no desire to dive back into the realm of US History, and I don't know which other humanities test I could take and score well on with minimum preparation. I am, however, thinking about studying a lot and taking Math I/II.

My top schools are Brown, Wesleyan, Vassar, & Carleton.

Lol, we have almost identical scores in some regards. I have a 2130, identical CR + M and a 710 W w/ 10 essay. My highest SAT II score is a 770 in a science (BioM)! Here, take my essay for the writing and give me your MC and we’ll have 750+!

Always retake as many times as you can! It doesn’t hurt and most colleges take the highest scores from each. It also shows you’re dedicated and willing to keep on persevering. Colleges almost want you to retake and it doesn’t look bad to them. So keep on trying to improve! I took it 4 times and sent them all to the schools I was interested in every time and guess what? I got into the one I wanted to with a scholarship! They like to see you are interested in their school when they continue to see SAT scores sent in from so and so

those are pretty difficult schools. math is dragging you down a bit. retake if you are more prepared and are certain you will improve. if you haven’t put in extra time to increase math, there is no point in retaking. good luck
