I'm applying SCEA to Princeton, with interest in majoring in English, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, and Molecular Biology (in that order). I never really thought about it, but I realized recently that my 730 in CR is kind of low for Princeton standards, especially since I want to major in English or at least earn a certificate in an English-related program. I think I can do better on CR because I got less questions wrong in March and only received a lower score because of a ridiculous curve. I also know I can do better on Writing because I only got 2 questions wrong in March but was thrown off by the weird reality entertainment essay. I'm not usually the one to b-tch about scores but knowing that I still have the October 2011 test date and a lot of free time in August and September (during which I will be writing apps, mind you), would it be advantageous to retake the SAT in an effort to improve on Writing and CR? Also, a friend told me that it would also be a good idea to prepare for SAT II Lit and try to do well on that. Any thoughts?
