Retake SAT for Princeton?

My Testing History:

November 2010: 730 Math, 730 CR, 770 Writing (12 Essay, 70 MC) - 2230
March 2011: 800 Math, 710 CR, 770 Writing (10 Essay, 76 MC) - 2280
Superscored: 2300
AP Scores: English Lang (5), Chem (5), Calc BC (5), Spanish Lang (4), Human Geo (5), Env Sci (5), Psych (5)
SAT IIs: 750 Spanish (non-native), 770 Chem

I'm applying SCEA to Princeton, with interest in majoring in English, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, and Molecular Biology (in that order). I never really thought about it, but I realized recently that my 730 in CR is kind of low for Princeton standards, especially since I want to major in English or at least earn a certificate in an English-related program. I think I can do better on CR because I got less questions wrong in March and only received a lower score because of a ridiculous curve. I also know I can do better on Writing because I only got 2 questions wrong in March but was thrown off by the weird reality entertainment essay. I'm not usually the one to b-tch about scores but knowing that I still have the October 2011 test date and a lot of free time in August and September (during which I will be writing apps, mind you), would it be advantageous to retake the SAT in an effort to improve on Writing and CR? Also, a friend told me that it would also be a good idea to prepare for SAT II Lit and try to do well on that. Any thoughts?

Yes, you should.
I’m not saying your score is bad, but usually Ivy Leagues should shoot for 2300+
But if you don’t retake it, it’s not bad. I suggest if you are reatke it, make sure you are 110% PREPARED.

yes, generally one should retake until he/she gets a 2400.

lol jk. but in all seriousness, i say go for it if you think you can score higher. go for perfect! colleges will never ding you for retaking unless it’s over three times. and for those who say it’s a waste of time, everyone knows that teenagers have tons of free time or could make time by focusing. if you want something, dont let anyone stop you from actualizing that dream into reality.

HAHAHA, you think youre gonna get in Princeton with that scoree? PALEASEEE!

p.s., I actually think you’re amazing, and you’ll get in anywhere you want. Just saying.
