Retake SAT II Lit in December? (senior)

I've always been a strong English student. I've taken Honors English my freshman, soph, and junior years and now I'm in AP Lit. My English teacher from last year is writing my recommendation, which I'm hoping/am pretty confident will be great, and I put English as my intended major on the Common App.

My standardized test scores are a different story though... I just don't seem to test well. My CR score is usually around the mid-600 range though the highest I've ever gotten on the Writing section was a 780. I took the SAT II Lit in May and got a 620 (and USH - 780). Do you think I should retake Lit in December? I just don't want my SAT score to hurt what my transcript says about me as a student, but at the same time, at this point, I feel like these tests have defeated me. I took the SAT I and ACT in October and the SAT I again in November for the final time.

Schools I'm applying to with the Jan. 1 deadline are BU, BC, Tufts, McGill, and Connecticut College (test optional).

Unless you want to spend your time doing other things there’s no real reason you shouldn’t retake.
