Hello. I'm a rising senior who just recently (in June) took the SAT II math, and got a 770. Should I retake it? I already took it once but canceled my scores, and this time, I thought I was for sure going to get an 800, but that didn't happen. My top choice is Princeton and I will probably apply to other Ivy Leagues and also liberal arts colleges. My SAT score was 2320 (800 on CR, math, and 720 on writing), Literature was 770, and Chemistry was 790.

I'm kind of frustrated with my score because I did well in my regular math class, but I can't seem to get the score I wanted on the SAT II, especially considering the percentile ranking for this particular test is so steep. But I heard from some of my friends that anything above a 750 doesn't really matter, but those same friends have all gotten 800's on their Math II subject test. And I do recognize I have a lot of other stuff I need to do other than studying for the SAT (college essays for example). Is re-taking the SAT II really a good investment of my time? And if in case I get a lower score, would that lower my chances?
