Ok i plan to retake my MATH II C SAT II becasue i scored 720. I dunt know whether I should retake bio which i got 730 in. I only want to take two SAT's so should I take Bio or something else.

Your Bio score is decent but I would definitely retake that Math score 730 is horrendous (well not horrendous but bad)

Horrendous is a bit harsh.

The average score for Biology E is 593, Biology M is 630, and Math II is 644. The fact that you didn't get an 800 isn't a bad thing. If its bothering you, I would take the next month to review and take it again. Chances are you'll do better.

As long as you feel like you know you can do better, than always retake it.

IMO, a 720 is not a bad score. Nor is a 730 in BIO a bad score.

It all depends on WHO you're comparing with and with what school's averages you are referring to meadow36.

I assume he/she is aiming for HYPSM

I thought a 700+ was decent for HYPSM. Even for Math II.

In any case, 720 is certainly NOT a "horrendous" score. Don't put people down like that, meadow36. I have friends in Stanford who got in with 730s - granted, this doesn't say much about how their SAT II score was regarded (the person is a fantastic writer, great grades, ECs, truly exceptional) but shows that it won't necessarily harm you.

okay sorry i was in bad mood at that time, I'm sorry if i offended you OP. But in all honesty due to Math IIC curve I'd consider 750+ a good score.

Yeah 720 is definitely not a bad score! But it's a really low percentile. (I got a 760 and it's 79% percentile!..so I'm retaking.) If you know you can do better, retake it for those top schools. If not, you might want to try a different subject.

^yeah I guess I really was going off of percentile....

just out of curiousity, what percentile is a 790?

For Math IIC its 89%....yeah.
