<p>I am a junior who will be applying early to a school next year. I first took the SAT at the beginning of this school year in October and did well enough (2250). People have told me there is no reason to retake but I am insistent because I know I can do markedly better.</p>
<p>I'm wondering now if I should sign up for the final June date or wait until the beginning of next year for October. I am hesitant about June because I would only have 2 weeks to study because of AP exams. If I do October I would study throughout some free time in the summer.</p>
<p>If I apply early, would I receive my October scores before I would need to send them, or would I need to rush report them? Should I take the June and, if unsatisfied with my score, retake in October? Which month do you think I should act on?</p>
