So I got a 2260 on SAT I, and 780 on US / 740 on Math II (I also got 750 on World, but I don't think sending two history scores is a good idea).

I was planning on taking Literature SAT II (I'm very good at English, so I figured I'd do pretty well on it), but I know if I retake SAT I, I can definitely break the 2300 marker. So do you guys think it's better to retake SAT I or SAT II this October? Thanks in advance.

I’ll say SAT, Stanford doesn’t lay too much emphasis on Subject Tests. But then you have a lot of perfect 800 subject test students applying. Good luck!!

I could definitely raise my SAT I score at least 50 points, and even up to around 110 points if I really apply myself (hopefully). However, if I take SAT II Literature, the highest I could increase my SAT II score is 60 points. And not only that, Literature is bat**** hard so I don’t know if I could increase my score that much at all. Should I re-take Math II? Or does that seem bad?

Your second after a 2190, Colleges don’t like it when students always try to make a 2400 because it will be like all you do is study Id say improve your ecs then you’d have a better shot.

Well it’s not like I’d be gimping out on my EC’s just because I’m studying for the SATs. I’m just wondering if it’d be more important to raise my SAT I or SAT II score.

Take an ACT practice test, see if you get a 35/36. If you score 33+ I’d say you should study for the ACT to take in Sept+Oct as well as the SAT in Lit for Oct
