Retake SAT?

Hi,

I got a 2240 (760 R, 680 M, 800 W) my first try November 2014 – the 680 was the result of the horrible math curve: I only got 3 questions wrong. Then, in February (the January make-up), I got a 2230 (710 R, 760 M, 760 W). So superscore is 2320. Is it worth a retake if I’m looking at top-tier schools? Or will colleges (I’m thinking Ivies, here, and some other super selective liberal arts schools) see the scores as good enough - not enough to make or break a decision, obviously - and move on?

With a 2320 you are competitive at top schools. Taking it again may make you seem score obssessed. You should move on to other parts of your application now.

Definitely not worth it for you to retake. Your score is excellent as is.

No, do not take it. You are already perfect for top schools. Focus you time on doing something else worth your college admissions process. I say that in the best intentions for you.
