retake sat?

I got a 2340 last year----800 reading, 800 writing, and 740 math. I know I could raise the math, maybe to a perfect, but I'm wondering if it matters at all. How strongly does Williams weight test scores? Is another 30-60 points worth retaking the test?

people like you really make me mad. do you know how many people (including me) would kill for those scores? believe me, if you're not accepted to a school it won't be because your test scores aren't high enough.

No, don't bother. I had a 2340 (800r, 800m, 740w) and I got in with an early write, so it's definitely good enough. I've heard that after a certain cutoff point (probably 2250-2300) they really don't care very much about differences in test scores. Spend the time writing a good essay.

Is there such a cut off?

Your SAT's are fine. They qualify you to apply.

What else do you have to offer?

There is no cut off.

Just to be clear, I wasn't talking about a low cutoff below which you can't be accepted. I was talking about a high cutoff, above which all scores are roughly equivalent.
